Careers - Independent Computer Network Support Specialist - Back

Individual Responsibilities:
- Supporting IT network for the client
- Gathering needs and giving solutions within the client's IT budget
- Installing software and hardware, supporting servers and needed technology
- Keep agreed upon deadlines
- Document results for clients
- Emailing daily status report to ARS Client Business Development Manager
Experience Required:
5+ years experience in implementing, installing and documenting technology
Skills Required:
- Advanced network support troubleshooting and problem solving and ability to create network diagrams
- Knowledge of installing all Microsoft products
- Advanced organizational skills and ability to explain technologies to clients who are not aware of what technology is needed and why
- Advanced systems installation knowledge and conversant around integration architectures
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Cisco, Firewalls, Novell and Sharepoint Portal Services is a plus
- Demonstrated work with infrastructure/deployment issues (T1, Routers, Modem and Ethernet technologies)
Education:
Bachelors Degree or higher (preferably with major in Computer Science)
MCSE, CCNA and CNE certifications are desired but not required.
Project Durations:
1 day to 3 months
Pay:
$50 - $62.50/hr on 1099
